Jesmond Health Partnership

In the summer of 2019, I was asked to help out a newly merged GP practice in Jesmond, Newcastle.

The two practices has merged in a very short time scale, were effectively operating as two separate entities and their newly expanded patient base didn’t know what was happening.

The first step was to establish the new practice’s identity – Jesmond Health Partnership – for which a logo had been designed, but little more.

As fate would have it, both previous web addresses and hosting agreements were about to expire, and a new presence was needed to least to allow patients to access online services. 

Within 3 days a brand new website was up built entirely from a blank slate. All the old urls forwarded meaning patients looking forte old sites would be redirected to the new one.

The site has been developed extensively to incorporate patient blogs, staff profiles, videos, online registration and health hubs, giving patients easy access to important resources. The site regular sees between 500 and 1,000 visitors a day.

With the new identity digitally launched, it was time to get it in front of people.

A new Google Business profile with updated date information, branding and images was set up, and a strategic Google Ads campaign run over a number of months, reaching tens of thousands of people.
